2. Data collected, purposes and legal bases

Depending on the website features you use, BRAIKE processes the following data:

Contact form — Data: Name, email, company, message — Legal basis (GDPR): Pre-contractual measures / legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)).

Free audit request (CheckUp) — Data: Professional email, website / accounts to be audited — Legal basis (GDPR): Pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Newsletter — Data: Email address — Legal basis (GDPR): Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Audience measurement / marketing — Data: Identifiers, browsing, IP — Legal basis (GDPR): Consent via the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Security and technical logs — Data: IP address, connection data — Legal basis (GDPR): Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

3. Recipients and processors

Data is processed by BRAIKE and by the following technical providers, acting as processors:

Vercel Inc. — Role: Website hosting — Location: United States — Transfer safeguard: DPF-certified.

Google (Google Analytics 4) — Role: Audience measurement — Location: United States — Transfer safeguard: DPF (to be confirmed on the list).

Google (Google Ads) — Role: Marketing / conversion — Location: United States — Transfer safeguard: DPF (to be confirmed on the list).

Resend Inc. — Role: Email sending — Location: United States — Transfer safeguard: DPF-certified.

4. Transfers outside the European Union

Transfers to the United States occur as a result of the above providers. Vercel and Resend are certified under the Data Privacy Framework (DPF); Google participates in it (status to be confirmed on the official list). Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs, EU 2021/914) are maintained as a subsidiary safeguard. The DPF status, which is reviewed annually, is verified prior to publication.

5. Retention periods

Contact and audit requests: 3 years from the last exchange, for prospecting purposes.

Newsletter: until withdrawal of consent (unsubscribe link).

Cookies and trackers: see the Cookie Policy; consent retained for 6 months (CNIL recommendation).

Technical logs: limited to what is necessary for security.

6. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You may also issue directives regarding the fate of your data after your death. The exercise of these rights may require verification of your identity. You exercise them with contact@braike.com; we respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

The website uses cookies and trackers subject to consent via a dedicated banner. The terms are detailed in the Cookie Policy.

8. Security

BRAIKE implements appropriate technical and organizational measures (HTTPS/TLS, access control, data minimization) to protect data against any unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure.

Governing language

This document is an English translation provided for information purposes only. The French-language version is the sole authoritative version and shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy or divergence of interpretation.
